The ignorance of new taxes ..

All this political talk about raising taxes to pay our staggering deficits should scare us all. That type of thinking is a poorly constructed, knee-jerk reaction, highlighting a gross case of serious economic nearsightedness. Raising taxes stifles the economy, effectively rendering any chance of a meaningful recovery a second cousin to wishful thinking.

The cure is actually relatively simple and impossible. You hold Obama to the campaign promise of going over the budgets of all government agencies with a scalpel, you turn the focus of the IRS on government funded fraud, you quit printing money, you quit increasing budgets, you quit forming new government agencies, and you forget raising taxes in any form. You also impose a two-term term limits with no perks, forcing our legislators back into the reality of real America. With those things set in concrete your investors once again become willing to invest in all the things that produce jobs, which is where the economic focus should be.

When people have money to spend they spend it. If they don’t they don’t; a lesson lost on our government. Money taken from me and given to China does nothing for America. Money I spend goes back into the economy and is spent many times over. One is a total loss system; the other continues to work endlessly.
